The Journal of Transcatheter Interventions (J Transcat Intervent), e-ISSN 2595-4350, previously entitled Revista Brasileira de Cardiologia Invasiva (Rev Bras Cardiol Invasiva), ISSN 0104-1843, is a publication of the Sociedade Brasileira de Hemodinâmica e Cardiologia Intervencionista (SBHCI). The decisions made by the editors and boards of the journal are independent from the SBHCI or publishing partners. The Editor-in-chief is responsible for selecting and managing the National and International Editorial Boards.
The mission of the Journal of Transcatheter Interventions is to record and publish scientific research that contributes to the community in the area of Health and, above all, Invasive Cardiology in Brazil and the world.
The journal has as its scope articles related to percutaneous intervention in heart (coronary and non-coronary), peripheral and cerebrovascular diseases. Manuscripts addressing pharmacological, pathophysiological and diagnostic aspects related to percutaneous intervention in cardiovascular diseases are also taken into account for publication. The journal does not intend to publish articles on cardiac electrophysiology or surgery.
Original Articles, Review Articles, Letters to the Editor, Brief Communication, Study Designs, Editorials, Images in Cardiovascular Intervention, and Case Reports, submitted in Portuguese and English, and available in electronic format, are accepted for publication.
The authors are fully responsible for the concepts described in the manuscripts submitted to publication, which do not reflect the opinion of the journal editors, and the costs of editorial production are of full responsibility of the Sociedade Brasileira de Hemodinâmica e Cardiologia Intervencionista. The articles accepted for publication become property of the journal.
The Journal of Transcatheter Interventions is an open access journal and does not charge any fees for submission, review, translation, and publication of articles. All processes are conducted electronically and may be accessed at www.jotci.org
