Journal of Transcatheter Interventions: an evolution of RBCI

The Revista Brasileira de Cardiologia Invasiva(RBCI) celebrates 26 years in 2018, and will go through a reformulation, changing its title to Journal of Transcatheter Interventions (JOTCI), according to the decision to internationalize it, taken in meetings with the members of the Editorial Board of RBCI and the board of the Sociedade Brasileira de Hemodinâmica e Cardiologia Intervencionista(SBHCI).
This reformulation will not be restricted merely to the title, but will include an exclusively electronic presentation and a new website with a continued publishing system, the so-called rolling pass system, in which the approved manuscripts are published online as soon as the editing process is completed. The Instructions for Authors have been updated and readjusted to the needs of an electronic journal. The manuscripts will be managed by the ScholarOne, system adopted by international journals aligned with MEDLINE.
