JOTCI: continuous publication is now a reality

The Journal of Transcatheter Interventions (JOTCI), a continuation of the Revista Brasileira de Cardiologia Invasiva, has gone through several changes this year, and we hope they will please readers and authors. These modifications demanded time and untiring endeavor of a group of dedicated professionals, including our Managing Editor and expert Edna Rother; our Editorial Secretary, Viviane Zeppelini; the digital design company Cabo Verde; and the diagramming company Rudolf Serviços Gráficos, aiming to adjust our publication to the most current trends of the international scientific journals.
The most relevant change relates to publishing the content at the website jotci.org. Now it is a continuous publication, i.e., the articles are published as soon as they are ready, after peer review, approval by the Editorial Board, grammar revision, translation, diagramming, and approval of the content in pdf format by the authors. The articles no longer wait until the issue is complete and concluded to be published, thus assuring more agility in providing information to the scientific community, making it readily available for reading and citation.
