How is it possible to say goodbye to my friend, to our Professor? He is still here with us at this Escola.
Only those who walked the corridors of the Cardiology Department of the Escola Paulista de Medicina in the past 30 years know very well he is still present. Only the young physicians of the last decades, fascinated by the Professor´s encyclopedic knowledge, those young doctors captivated by his tireless availability to teach medicine and dedication to patients as if there were no tomorrow, even when he himself was close to breathing his last tomorrow. Only the young physicians who, in our beloved “Escolinha”, became professionals, and finally understood the magnitude of his dedication. And who now carry on to help build his dream.
